The Provident Bank Foundation Supports Community One-On-One Tutoring

The Provident Bank Foundation , which supports organizations that are dedicated to improving the lives of residents in the communities served by Provident Bank, has provided a $5,500 grant to the Morris Educational Foundation(MEF) in support of its community volunteer program in the Morris School District for the 2014-2015 school year. The grant will provide the necessary resources to fund the MEF’s tutoring program. At Frelinghuysen Middle School, over thirty tutors work with approximately 50 children in both language arts and mathematics instruction. In addition, the program provides volunteer tutor assistance for the Academic Afterschool program at Sussex Avenue Elementary School. read more

The Provident Bank Foundation Helps Elijah’s Promise Culinary Students

The Provident Bank Foundation , which supports organizations that are dedicated to improving the lives of residents in the communities served by Provident Bank, has provided a $5,000 grant to Elijah’s Promise in support of providing quality training and job placement services to low income adults to support long term self sufficiency. The grant will enable Promise Jobs Culinary School to continue their work in supplying students with a wide variety of culinary fundamentals, along with assistance in internship and job placement in the food service industry. read more
