The Provident Bank Foundation , which supports organizations that are dedicated to improving the lives of residents in the communities served by Provident Bank, has provided the Boys & Girls Club of Bethlehem with a $2,500 community grant to support the Club’s Project Learn after-school program for youth of all ages. Project Learn helps drive and enhance academic success for youth. Components of this program include: daily homework help for club members, individual or small-group tutoring to help youth gain proficiency in needed subject areas, regular implementation of high-yield learning activities (HYLAs), in which youth participate in fun, intentional activities designed to expose young people to skills and information needed for school success, school-club-family partnerships to support youth academically and recognizing all members for their academic achievements.
