Hunterdon Helpline

The Provident Bank Foundation , which supports organizations that are dedicated to improving the lives of residents in the communities served by Provident Bank, has provided Hunterdon Helpline, Inc. a $2,500 community grant for Literacy Services. Hunterdon Helpline is a 24-hour initial assistance call center that provides information, referrals, advocacy, education and compassionate interaction to meet the needs of the communities it serves. Hunterdon Helpline’s Literacy Services Program provides individualized instruction for adult learners whose native or second language is English. The grant will support the costs to improve the efficacy and success of adult learners by increasing staff, tutor training and program materials. Read More

This program specifically aims to educate and guide fathers and male caregivers about the skills, strategies, and roles each one should play in their child’s life and education. Read More

Lake Drive Educational Foundation

The Provident Bank Foundation , which supports organizations that are dedicated to improving the lives of residents in the communities served by Provident Bank, has provided Lake Drive Educational Foundation with a $3,500 community grant to support its Sound Start program that offers listening, spoken, and sign communication services to infants and families with hearing loss in twelve Northern New Jersey counties. More than half of the participants in the program stem from low income families, multilingual homes, and/or families associated with multiple disabilities. The program is an early intervention program for children ages birth to three years to measure a series of skills, including cognitive, gross and fine motor, social/emotional, adaptive,and receptive and expressive language skills. The Provident Bank Foundation Awards $100K ‘Signature’ Grant and $20K ‘Impact’ Grants to Nonprofits in Lehigh Valley, PA and Hunterdon County, NJ

The Provident Bank Foundation has announced that it has selected The Collective Impact Action Learning Fellowship c/o Habitat for Humanity of the Lehigh Valley, PA, to receive its $100,000 “Signature” Grant in the Community Enrichment funding priority area. In addition, the Foundation has awarded two $20,000 “Impact” Grants, one to Allentownbased Neighborhood Housing Services of Lehigh Valley, PA and on to The Red Mill Museum in Clinton, NJ. Read More
